After working in a restaurant for over ten years, Ayu’s cooking skills are knife-sharp! She left her job several years ago to focus on her family. Now she lives with her charmingly energetic son, her husband Komang, and their pet dogs (including a rescued street dog).
Komang has been a professional driver for decades. He usually spends his days taking visitors all over Bali. He’s an incredible tour guide, but without tourists, he’s out of work.
We’re fortunate enough to count Komang and Ayu as friends, and had the pleasure of joining them for several meals at their home. We were astonished by Ayu’s skill and ability to coax complex new flavors out of familiar ingredients. Now you can recreate her amazing recipes and enjoy the flavors of Indonesia at home!
